Being dead is a concept many understand as far as the physical realm is involved. Once the spiritual is talked of, countless people back off. Whereas the spiritual is the stepping stone to happenings in the visible world.
Death is a process by which ones’ organs start failing progressively to a state of no return. This is not a function of whether it happened after a loooooong sickness or by a brief road accident. The truth is that the organs of the person undertook several damages resulting in the final result which is DEATH.
Just as the physical one, spiritual death is a process by which we give room to the “lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind” – Ephesians 2: 3. This naturally results in sin which symbolises our spiritual death. We kind of inherited the sin nature because of Adam and Eve’s trespasses but there is a way out to life – as always with the God we serve. Thus, as prescribed in the Word of the almighty in John 5: 24, the only way to everlasting life – both here on earth and in eternity is to hear the word of God and believe in Him – that is His word and His authority.
We do not want you to feel judged, but by doing this we expect you to check back your life – honestly – and come back to your first love. Because indeed there is no real joy outside Him and He is forever ready to take you back Home no matter how grandiose that sin might look like.
Take a look at what He said here in Luke 15: 7: “I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repententh, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance”. What a wonderful father? You just need to confess your sins, ask for forgiveness and accept Christ as your love and saviour.
